That's just the thing - he's not offering a solution. It's just rhetoric. $500 BILLION is budgeted for '07 to pay for INTEREST alone. A better solution would be to decrease spending across the board - including billions wasted through entitlements and by the Military-Industrial Complex, increase taxes or at least remove corporate charity "breaks," and pay off the national debt.

Romney is all about decreasing spending. In fact, he seems to be offering more solutions to things than any of the other candidates on a number of fronts. As well, his leadership and organization abilities are so strong. I think event a lot of democrats (if they are humble enough to admit it) will be able to see that Romney is EXACTLY what this country needs right now - and for so many reasons.

Romney has a background in business, he made his money acquiring businesses and fixing them. We need him to fix the worst managed business in the country, the Federal Government!

He has what it takes to get it done in Washington. Our government has to many lawyers leading the country and they unfortunatly are not very efficient.

the final comments by Romney on this inane 'interview' with Sean (post your derogatory comment here) Hannity about no taxes on UNEARNED income such as interest, dividends and capital gains contradicts traditional Republican values. Don't you think, if anything, that EARNED income, such as salaries, wages and Self-employed income should be taxed at a lesser rate than Unearned income? Do the Republicans now value those who work less than those who need not? True conservatives need only to reply

Have to wait and see the details of the plan. As far as I care, any reduction in taxes is a good start.
