Ok I'm completely pro-democrat and I've never been considered a conservative. This however, is ridiculous -it's unreal. We have immigrants coming in here from all over the world and they choose spanish. The funny thing is that their audience is mostly people that are relatives of illegal immigrants. Just about anyone that comes here legally has to learn English, I know I did. race at this point. Someone educate me.

If this happens to all of the debates I am going to side with the hardcore conservatives on immigration.

Why the surprise? Although they broadcast in Spanish, Univision is AN AMERICAN NETWORK. And Nielsen just merged the ratings panels so Univision now competes with ABC, NBC, CBS, CW, FOX... and it BEAT THEM ALL last week. Like it or not, there are a lot of people watching, many of them are "legal" and voters, and it explains why the candidates want to participate in this.

That is a pretty ignorant comment for someone living in the EU, were there are many languages spoken. In many states in the US Spanish was spoken first then English. Today Spanish is widely spoken, in some cases even more than English. Embrace it! BTW I speak both languages perfectly fine and I will continue to use and support my language of preference(Spanish), because that is my right. We can live with multilingualism, just like Switzerland.

Good, but I am still voting green. During elections they always praise us and speak in our language, but after elected, they won't invite you to sit with them at their table, unless you were bringing them their plate.

I am a democrat..and this is still ridiculous...if you are running for american public office there is no need to pander to this bunch by speaking theit native language. If they are proud of being mexican thats fine and I supprt that ..but they now live here...we speak english and it is this type of footage with our leading candidates licking evry leftwing asshole possible that will stop us from taking the whitehouse..which at 1 point was gauranteed

I kinda think the NAU is the prime reason for this.. they are prepping the United States for the "other" national languages... If we see a telecast in French then we will know for sure wont we :} The people making it possible are the same ones who say they want to secure the borders.. oh and Democrats.
