Description:
Time lapse winter scene in Gais/Switzerland. Have you noticed the horizontal white streak of light that appears for a short time near the center? This phenomenon is called parhelic circle. Ice crystals in the clouds mirror the sunlight and produce a circle of light all around the sky on the elevation of the sun. |
