Description: number 10 in a series of short video experiments (working title "scan studies") created using a scanner, premiere, photoshop and various different scanned medias. i was trying to come up with a brakhage style method of making handmade films, but in a digital medium. using a scanner on a high setting, i then brought these scans into photoshop via a 20 second long filmstrip from premiere. each filmstrip was then layered with the scans and then brought back into premiere. i call this technique "photoscoping" or "handscanning" :) for this one i scanned slithers of silver foil on top of cling film, whilst moving the foil at the same time. lovely rainbow noise. enjoy. p.s. apologies if the resolution is shit, i'll add better quality links at a later date. |
