I understand that around 700 in total died on that island alone. Its something i will never forget Such a beautiful place. My friend was scuba diving but i could not go as i had a tattoo done on christmas day. Woke up early to look at tattoo my friend jay went for his dive i thought sod it ill go for a walk and get some shorts and then it all kicked off.i ended up running up stairs in the reggae bar and just saw the whole island get wiped out in about 10 mins. __________________________________________________ | |

| rianne63 ::: Favorites 2007-12-07 14:32:26 we were suprised when we see this clip. its the first time after 3 years that we see how the water was coming from the side of the pier. i was there on the other side with family in a guesthouse and we were sleeping when the tsunami suprised us. but i see now that the water was coming much harder from the side where we were. thanks god that we all survive with 7 people (holland). r.i.p. for all the people who lost their lives, now three years ago on 26 dec. never forget!! __________________________________________________ | |
