That's the second sparring video we made. I dunno if it's visible but we got better since the first one. It's a pity we decided to have dynamic camera so now the screen is a little bit shaky :P

thanks for the comment, we both weren't sparring a lot and had no formal training so we couldn't have been very good at sparring. And well I certainly am better at Kenvert, but still long way to be perfect

Not terrible at sparing, though I think you better at tricking from what youve posted.
Try to keep the sword more central to your body so your better protected. When your stricking and your opponent is on the defencive, try a little deception by bringing your bokken as if you about to strike the neck one way then in a whipping motion bring it round and srike the other side.

I think this is good... You both show some good qualities, you are both looking for and finding the gap in your opponents defense and attacking it. The technique, posture (especially the footwork) needs work. But on the whole I liked it :)

just a thought...you guys seem to fight in a linear fashion. Sometimes sidestepping an attack is far better than blocking.
