Description: WARNING: If you are generally not keen on spoofs, parodies or similar which take sweeping liberties with the original traits of fictional characters, this video may not be for you. For everyone else who feels like a bit of fun, I hope you enjoy it. A couple of acknowledgements to make: many thanks to LovelyLady1988 for sparking off the idea for this video in my head, and also to KakkoiAru for encouraging me. So, without further ado, cue the video, cue the music, cue Adele Varens as a backing singer, and above all, cue Neil Hannon's voice issuing forth from the mouth of Jane Eyre... P.S. Sorry for the typo in the video credits Disclaimer: I do not own or claim to own any of the material used in making this video. All the footage is the property of the BBC and the music is 'To Die a Virgin' as performed by The Divine Comedy. My only input was how the material has been editted in this particular instance. |

onemagnolia ::: Favorites DaftTwerp, this is hilarious and a great antidote to the serious comments on your "Seduction of Jane Eyre" video, which was also great. I love the book, the adaptations, and both your videos - thank goodness there's room for them all! 07-06-24 01:17:38 __________________________________________________
shesastudy ::: Favorites i love the divine comedy.. this video is awesome! 07-06-23 20:35:44 __________________________________________________
grammy70 ::: Favorites Funny, funny, loved the dialog from Camomile Lawn! 07-05-07 01:20:47 __________________________________________________
teabird61 ::: Favorites Very funny video! The wonderful thing is, of course, that Jane did not die a virgin, she only had to wait a year and got to give it away on her terms, like everything she did. And Rochester, for the first time in his life, got to experience sex in the kind of relationship he'd always wanted. Worth the wait for both of them, I'd say. And I imagine that once they were married, they set the place on fire, so to speak!! I picture them going at it like rabbits all over Ferndean. 07-05-06 18:13:53 __________________________________________________
