Description: This video is from my live performance on 26 February 2005 at a Houston, Texas venue. I am playing my original composition called "Gypsy Dreams" which is about that rebel soul, that bohemian spirit in each of us. In this composition I attempt to fuse flamenco and blues (as if this were at all possible) with a symphonic rock twist. It's a long song (hence the "symphonic rock" label), but I can't help myself. I recorded this using a home digital camcorder placed in the audience, so the sound is not so great. Also in the second half of the performance, my sound system received very loud interference for a few seconds, which I attribute to a cell phone signal. I tried real hard to ignore it and to continue playing like if nothing was happening. Please, share, rate, comment and let me know what you think, especially if I was successful or not in achieving a flamenco-blues fusion of sorts (I don't think so, but I tried). I hope you enjoy it and thanks for watching and listening.
